The hottest Dutch bedtime stories in Minnesota right now are "De boze heks" books by Hanna Kraan. We had one from last year's NL visit, and the video tape. They were introduced to Stefan this past Sinkerklaas (Dec.), and he loves them. They are stories about a witch and all of her forest friends (a hare, a hedgehog, squirrels, owl, etc.). The video is done with black paper puppets with gorgeous forest settings and is delightful. One of the VPRO Kleuterband collection has a few of the stories on it, so perhaps you have seen it. It turns out that there are 3 other "De boze heks" books, and those are the ones that arrived from Proxis in time.
